Speech and Language Therapy Services
Clare has over 15 years experience working with adults and children, both in the NHS and independent practice. Clare specialises in neuro rehabilition, and has a particular interest in working with people with complex needs, who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) or with social communication difficulties, and adopts a functional approach to intervention.
In the past 8 years, Clare has gained extensive experience working alongside case managers and other rehabilitation therapists in the medico-legal field.
Clare is registered with the HPCP and the RCLST, which means that she has maintained her learning and development in line with professional standards.
If you wish to discuss your, your loved one or client’s speech and language requirements please use our contact page where we will be happy to assist and provide a quote.
Clare can work with children and adults in their own home, at school/college or work environment. The initial assessment and ongoing input can be completed wherever they feel most comfortable.
We can offer therapeutic programmes tailored to the person's specific needs. We work closely with the client and family, carers and other members of the interdisciplinary team to set functional and realistic goals. Our therapists can recommend and produce bespoke resources and aids to support a total communication approach, along with advice and training for families and other professionals.
Clare is pleased to be able to offer therapy via video call.
We can also offer supervision to qualified speech and language therapists and assistants.
